About the speaker
Anna Threlfall BVSc MVetMed DipACVIM DipECVIM-CA MRCVS; Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine, Davies Veterinary Specialists
Anna graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2007 and enjoyed four years working in general practice in Kent. She then completed a rotating internship, followed by a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College where she gained her Master’s Degree and Diploma. Anna joined the team at Davies in 2015 and loves the continued wide variety of cases that Internal Medicine has to offer. Anna’s interest in haematology started when she was at school and she spent her gap year and many university holidays working in the haematology laboratory at University College London Hospital (UCLH). This, combined with her love for cats, has fuelled her interest in feline transfusion medicine. Both Anna’s cats ‘Blackjack’ and ‘Podge’ are retired feline blood donors.
